Rebecca Baker (also known by some patients under her maiden name, Rebecca Wills) is a Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist with 30 years experience in Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy, treating musculo-skeletal injuries, orthopaedics (pre and post operative care) and sports medicine.
She has worked for the Mercedes Formula 1 Team for the past 9 years at their Headquarters in Brackley, but prior to this had extensive experience with many sports teams, including international squad cover for England and British Athletics, pitch-side/clinic cover for Fulham FC (Youth) and Professional Basketball. She has also had invites to work at many elite level events such as the European Triathlon Championships, Harlequins Rugby League cover (U21s), tennis tournaments, F1 testing (Benetton) and professional dance tours, as well as working closely with many high-level, professional and Olympic athletes.
Rebecca consults alongside many Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeons and has been part of a specialist spinal MDT, consisting of Surgeons, Pain Specialists and Radiologists. Her work consists of mainly manual treatments and she has electrotherapy onsite (eg ultrasound or interferential treatment). She is qualified and experienced in acupuncture, manipulation and exercise when required. Rebecca is also studying for a MSc in Strength and Conditioning to add to her rehabilitation skills.
All private medical insurances are covered including Bupa, AXA PPP, Vitality, Cigna, WPA and Aviva. Non-private insurance patients are very welcome and Rebecca sees many regular patients for physio and maintenance treatment if necessary.
